How do I start earning revenue with CollabSplit?
You will be set up with access to download content from the Collab Clips Video Library which includes over 230,000 licensed viral videos. Browse the library, download the clips you want to use, and edit them into your videos. When we claim videos on your channel, you will receive the agreed-upon revenue share payment monthly (and the clip owners will also receive their share).
What percentage of revenue will I receive?
The revenue share varies based on the level of transformation added to your content, the type of content you use, and the average viewership on your channel. For example, YouTube Reactors receive a higher share of revenue than compilation channels because they make a greater creative contribution to the content. The revenue share must also fairly compensate the clip owner whose content is being used.
Will my channel be whitelisted and protected against copyright strikes?
Yes, your channel will be added to the allowlist so that you will not receive any future strikes while licensing content via CollabSplit.
How and when do you send payments?
You will be paid monthly, within 30 days of when Collab receives payment from YouTube. We issue payments via Paypal, ACH, and wire transfer. Our minimum payout threshold is $50.
